Manual

Attach RESTUBE EXTREME horizontally, vertically, or directly to your equipment using the flexible clip.
Engage the splint pin lock for extra security in rough conditions.
In an emergency, pull the trigger firmly — the buoy inflates instantly.
Use the buoy for buoyancy and attract attention with the integrated whistle on the trigger.
After use, deflate via the valve, rinse with fresh water, and dry completely.
Rearm with a new 16 g CO₂ cartridge — insert and twist until secure.
Fold the buoy back into the bag. Ready for your next session.

Who is EXTREME for?

EXTREME is made from extra strong buoy and bag material, making it ideal for rough conditions in and on the water. The split pin closure also prevents accidental opening of the bag.

EXTREME is suitable for kitesurfing, windsurfing, surfing and stand-up paddling in waves or on the river.

What is the difference between the BEACH, ACTIVE and EXTREME Safety Buoy?

BEACH has a buoyancy of 50N and is ideal for families, children and seniors for leisure activities on and in the water. It is also suitable for stand up paddlers in swimwear in the summer - wherever there are no swimming aid regulations. ACTIVE has 75N buoyancy and is ideal for swimming or stand-up paddling, for training or competitions. EXTREME has a buoyancy of 75 N and is suitable for rough conditions when kite- and windsurfing, surfing or in professional use.

Can I use the RESTUBE Safety Buoy more than once?

Yes, after replacing the CO2 CARTRIDGE, the Safety Buoy is immediately ready for use again. The sales package contains the safety buoy incl. an original RESTUBE CO2 CARTRIDGE that must be screwed in before use. After use, the safety buoy is very easy to prepare for use again: Deflate, insert a new cartridge, fold the buoyancy chamber according to the printed instructions, and stow the whole thing in the pouch! ATTENTION: Only original RESTUBE CO2 CARTRIDGES are 1.) 100% quality tested, 2.) seawater resistant, 3.) level tested and 4.) the necessary release force is matched to the release. The cartridges comply with the standard for life jackets DIN EN ISO 12402-7. If other cartridges are used, it cannot be guaranteed that the safety buoy will fill without problems in an emergency and the trigger may be damaged.

How many times can a CO2 cartridge be used?

A CO2 cartridge can be used to trigger the Safety Buoy once. Afterwards, the empty CO2 cartridge must be removed, and a new original RESTUBE CO2 cartridge must be inserted.

You can also blow up the Safety Buoy manually using the mouth valve. This is a practical option if you are using the Safety Buoy as a swim buoy, or for snorkeling.
